The Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren Stirling Moss Edition entered production between June and December of 2009. Its design was inspired by the 1955 Mercedes-Benz 300SLR racing car and became the last SLR variations to be produced by McLaren with Mercedes-Benz.

75 Stirling Moss Edition SLR cars were produced and fitted with the same V8 used in the 722 Edition. The Stirling Moss Edition is 200kg lighter than the standard SLR.

Koenigsegg the car company appears to be on a streak in China right now, and its namesake founder is riding the lightning with the car you see above, the Koenigsegg One:1. Scanned from a brochure for the coupe, the name is a reference to its power output of one horsepower per kilogram. It's weight isn't known, but Cars UK says it's lighter than the Agera R and so probably in the area of 1,250 to 1,350 kilograms, and hence, hp.

Koenigsegg the owner is apparently making the rounds of Asia and the Middle East to secure orders for the five One:1 models that will be produced. Cost is in the $2-million ballpark, which puts the One:1 in the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport ballpark, yet with acceleration that just might beat it. We'll probably never see it outside of scans and customs catastrophes, but it's good to see the Swedish speed merchant continually raising his game.

New 2013 Ferrari Berlinetta

The new Ferrari F12 Berlinetta 2013. Car shape made from scracth with Zmodeler by me. Actual tires + rims and interior only for showing car purpose. The actual status of the car is 50%. I will do my own made tires+rims and interior. Also I need to do some small fixes in the car shape.

Ferrari auctioned off the very first F12 Berlinetta over the weekend for $1.125 million – almost four times the list price of $315,888. The proceeds went to the American Red Cross to help communities affected by Superstorm Sandy.

Larry Roth, a philanthropist based on Long Island, bought the car at the Formula One Grand Prix in Austin, Texas over the weekend. (Read more: For Now, Rich Sit on Wallets in Sandy's Wake)

The F12 is the most powerful production Ferrari ever sold, with a V12 engine that helps the car reach a top speed of 211 mph.

Combined with contributions from dealers, clients and “friends” of Ferrari, the sale of the Berlinetta put the amount Ferrari, a division of Fiat, has raised for Sandy charities at more than $1.5 million.

Roth, who lives in Great Neck, NY, made his fortune from starting an eye-glasses business, which he sold in 2008. He said that he already owns two Ferraris – a 599 GTO and a 2013  458 Spyder he received a month ago.
