Autocar has learned that Mercedes-Benz plans on producing a mid-engined eco supercar to go against the BMW Vision EfficientDynamics. The Mercedes-Benz Biome concept is a preview of the new supercar that will be released in 2015. The concept was developed at Mercedes' Californian design studio. "There are elements within the design that could easily be progressed and developed for production. We were conscious during its development to ensure it wasn't too limited or edgy. It had to be do-able without any significant changes," says Hubert Lee, head of the California design studio.

Ferrari has simply outdone themselves. It's as close to motoring perfection as it gets. Take everything you could ever want in a sports car - and we mean everything - and the F430 Spider has it. Sexy, smooth, perfect curves that make your heart skip a beat (or three). Performance that will knock your shoes, socks, pants, and shirts off. An engine sound that will make Formula 1 drivers jealous. Handing so tight, so smooth, so precise that you'll have to pinch yourself to believe you're actually in a convertible.

Since the Spyker nameplate isn’t exactly the most recognizable among the non-auto enthusiast crowd, let us provide some background history on one of the lesser-known automotive companies in the world today. The Spijker brothers founded the coach-building Spyker company in 1880. By the turn of the century, Spyker introduced its first automobiles, and shortly thereafter the company went on to build World War I airplanes and aircraft engines. This marked the beginning of Spyker’s symbolic and enduring aeronautical heritage, which still serves as inspiration for some of the styling cues found in current Spyker cars. The business side of things, however, was far from glorious and financial woes prompted the Spyker company to fold in 1926. Present-day company, Spyker Cars was founded in 1999 and is unrelated to the aforementioned Spyker company, but Spyker Cars hold the legal rights to its brand name. The first prototype of the Spyker C8 supercar was unveiled by Spyker Cars in 2000, and remains in production. The production volume is very low and, therefore, the C8 command a very high price. The Spyker C8 comes in a number of variants, including the C8 Laviolette and C8 Double 12R, but this review will cover only one variant: the C8 Spyder. World Fastest Cars – Koenigsegg CCX

Koenigsegg CCX is at number 4 with speed of 245, 0-60 in just 3.2 second. Its a cool car with cool style. It is probably the best designed car ever . One of the royal family of Qatar has the Koenigsegg CCX Special one which is the best looking car in my point of view. It's not all about speed only but it's also about the look. Bugatti might be the fastest car but not the most attractive one. Koenigsegg CCX Special beats everyone by it's look.

The Lamborghini
The company's first models were released in the mid-1960s, and were noted for their refinement, power and comfort. Lamborghini gained wide acclaim in 1966 for the Miura sports coupé, which established mid-engine design as the standard layout for high-performance cars of the era. After a decade of rapid growth, hard times befell the company in the mid-1970s, as sales plunged in the wake of the 1973 world financial downturn and oil crisis. After going through bankruptcy and three changes in ownership, Lamborghini came under the corporate umbrella of the Chrysler Corporation in 1987. The American company failed to return the automaker to profitability and sold it to Indonesian interests in 1994. Lamborghini's lack of success continued through the 1990s, until the company was sold in 1998 to Audi, a subsidiary of the Volkswagen Group (a German automotive concern). Audi's ownership marked the beginning of a period of stability and increased productivity for Lamborghini, with sales increasing nearly tenfold over the course of the 2000s, peaking in record sales in 2007 and 2008. The world financial crisis in the late 2000s negatively affected luxury car makers worldwide, and saw Lamborghini's sales drop back to pre-2006 levels.

Assembly of Lamborghini cars continues to take place at the automaker's ancestral home in Sant'Agata Bolognese, where engine and automobile production lines run side-by-side at the company's single factory. The company produces only two models, the V10-powered Gallardo and the V12-powered Aventador, in a variety of body styles, trim levels, and limited-production editions. Fewer than 3,000 cars roll off the production line each year (credits to wikipedia).

Sultan of Brunei's exotic car collection are for sale ! He is one of the richest guy in the world. You won't beleive the number cars this guy owns OMG ! There are many prominent and wealthy collectors of exotic supercars on Earth, but few can rival the secretive collection of the royal house of Brunei. The collection has been the subject of much conjecture, with only occasional leaks betraying its contents, but now part of the collection has apparently gone up for sale.

Among those rarities up for grabs are three Lamborghinis, two lightweight Porsche 911 Turbos, a Jaguar XJ220, one of only eight Cizeta V16s ever produced, the ItalDesign BMW Nazca and no fewer than 25 Ferraris, including an Enzo, an F50, an F40 and a custom 512 TR Spider.

Although the broker – based in New Zealand with the collection rumored to be located currently in Singapore – does not disclose the liquidating owner, few others than the Sultan of Brunei and his controversial brother Prince Jefri could have amassed such an assembly of exotica. Many of the cars have no more on the odometer than their original factory mileage, and all are worth well into the six and seven figures, making this easily one of the most valuable collections ever put up for sale.

Welcome to my blog dedicated to the beauty of exotic cars. Fantasy cars, prototypes and luxury ones. Ferrari ,Lamborghini, Aston Martin, Bentley, Mclaren, Porsche, Mercedes, Vector etc...

To be honest, some to me are a complete mistery. If you know the name of the car and/or the maker, feel free to let me know. Thanks
